Our New Mrs. Florida America 2010
Beauty Inside & Out
For some Orlando is magical, a place where dreams come true. Kellie Lightbourn is no exception. Her childhood dream came true when she was crowned Mrs. Florida America 2010, on May 16. The 35-year-old Tampa television host competed for two days in the pageant hosted by Jacqueline Siegel, held at the Westgate Vacation Villas.
Lightbourn, married to her prince charming, Nick, for over a decade, is the proud mother of 2 ½ year old twins, Landyn and Nicholas. Her impressive resumé includes a Juris Doctorate and Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She’s also a well-known television personality, attorney, and sought after motivational speaker. Today, she continues to influence lives as the host of ABC Action News’ “Life. Style. HOME. TV.”
Lightbourn’s most notable accomplishments come by way of her endless philanthropic endeavors. As one of the original cofounders of the National Humane Society, she continues to focus on helping our community. This year her teen motivational program, The Teen Edge, will launch nationwide. When asked about her greatest accomplishment the Mrs. America hopeful smiled and humbly answered, “It would have to be my family. I know my husband would agree that raising happy healthy kids has been our greatest achievement.” As you can see, our new Mrs. Florida America’s true beauty radiates from the inside out!
