Everyone was celebrating “Teeing Off Under the Big TOP” at the 13th Annual W.H.O. Golf Tournament on Thursday, April 18th. With a breathtaking sunrise and blue skies, it turned out to be a perfect day to be on the greens of MetroWest Golf Club.
Before the players took to the course, they picked up their bingo game card, participated in the putting contest, raffle purchase and were treated to a delicious breakfast from Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery featuring a sampling of danish, muffins, fresh fruit, hot breakfast sandwiches and a make-your-own mimosa bar.
With red and white canvas player bags from Promos 4 U, full of sponsor gifts and the beverage carts stocked with product from Pepsi, MillerCoors and Canteen Vending, the players set off to an early morning shotgun start as Josh Arendt, Tournament Coordinator for MetroWest, gave golfers the green light for the Carnival to begin.
Sponsors at each hole provided special giveaways, food and beverages and held “Carnival” themed contests. From US. Foods cooking up their delectable burgers to Mr. Greenjeans Produce preparing one of a kind Caramel Apple Moonshine, to getting your picture taken with a live gator from Gatorland, each hole made for a fun, exciting celebration. To commemorate the day, players posed for their framed souvenir photo.
