The Fondue Effect

Fall/Winter 12-13

At the Melting Pot, servers are always asked ‘what is fondue?’ Most people know the cuisine as melted cheese and chocolate that originated in the Swiss Alps. While those two courses are the specialty at the Melting Pot, there is much more to the fondue experience.

The cheese fondue is the starter course and the Melting Pot offers six unique recipes to choose from. Your server prepares the cheese fondue for the guest’s table side, where you are served an assortment of fresh breads, apples and vegetables for dipping. Select one of the five signature salads to cleanse your pallet before the succulent entrée course.

This interactive course allows the guest to prepare a variety of steak, seafood, chicken and vegetables in one of the four flavorful cooking styles and each entrée is accompanied by six homemade sauces for dipping!

The first three courses are just a prelude to the award winning chocolate fondue! Select any one of the 10 chocolate fondues like cookies and cream or bananas foster. No matter the choice of chocolate, you’ll be served an assortment of dippers such as strawberries, cheesecake and rice krispies to dip into the warm and creamy chocolate fondue.

The Melting Pot of Orlando has private dining rooms suitable for large parties, celebrations and group functions. For those individuals looking for a more “private dining experience,” you may request to be seated in the romantic dining area which is aptly nicknamed "Lover's Lane."

Whatever the size of your group, you'll be delighted in knowing that the fondue meals are a perfect way to slow down, relax and enjoy the company of friends, family or your significant other. The fondue effect isn’t something you can read about, you have to experience it.
