Rescuing dolphins from coast to coast, Clearwater Marine Aquarium is dedicated to their mission of Rescue, Rehab and Release. The aquarium is home to marine life featured in the Dolphin Tale movies, located just 90 minutes from Orlando on America’s #1 Beach Clearwater in Florida. A rough toothed dolphin that was stranded off Longboat Key, will soon be making its forever home at CMA after being transferred from their rehab facility in Fred Howard Park. A hearing test determined she is hearing impaired, dolphins with severe hearing loss are unable to echolocate which is essential for finding food and avoiding predators. National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) determined the dolphin to be non-releasable.

Come visit the newest rescued resident, she will be paired with Rudy, a male rough toothed dolphin!
